It is operated from the front, or from a mobile operation unit (Vehicle Applique Unit - VAU / SOLD SEPARATELY) , or  by D10 2 wire line equipment, that can be used upto 2 km away.

Using the Audio 2 connectors, two radios can form a radio relay/re broadcast system.

For portable use, an automatic  tuner antenna adaptor (ATAA / SOLD SEPARATELY) is clipped on.

The broadband antenna (SOLD SEPARATELY) used in mobile mode, needs no adjustment.

Having removed the battery and the ATAA, the transceiver (main block / THIS ITEM OFFERED FOR SALE) can be inserted into the VAU , and forms a mobile station or static with 0.1 or 5W HF- output.

An additional HF- amplifier (SOLD SEPARATELY) can be inserted into the VAU, connected via multi pin  cable, giving an HF- output of 0.1, 5, or 50W
